Who is behind Jan Furnishings?
We are a team of furnishing enthusiasts who launched Al Hadeeqa in 2021 in the UAE — a furnishing service designed to help you furnish your home without hassle. After recognising the challenges with curtain installations, we launched Jan Furnishings as a sister company of Al Hadeeqa to offer a seamless, transparent, and stress-free curtains and blinds experience. Do you have a showroom?
We don't operate a physical showroom — but that's intentional. We bring the showroom to you. Book a free home visit and our expert will arrive with fabric samples, swatches, and style options. You get to see everything in your own space, with your own light and furniture, before committing to anything.
What areas do you cover?
We service all areas across Dubai — from Downtown and Jumeirah to Dubai Hills, JBR, Marina, Mirdif, Deira, and beyond. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just WhatsApp us and we'll confirm straight away.
What happens during the measurement visit?
Our team member will visit your home to take precise window measurements, present curated fabric and style options, and help you finalise your preferences. It usually takes 30–45 minutes depending on the number of windows. There's no obligation to purchase at this stage.
How long does it take to receive a price quote?
You'll receive a detailed price quote within 1 hour of the measurement visit. For simple orders, we can often quote on the spot during the visit itself.
Can I make changes to my order after receiving the quote?
Yes — you can adjust your product selection freely before making payment. Once payment is made, you have a 24-hour window to request changes. After that, your order enters production and changes may not be possible.
Is installation included in the price?
Yes, absolutely. Installation is included in every order — no extra charges, no surprise fees. Our team measures, manufactures, delivers, and installs. You don't lift a finger.
How soon can my curtains or blinds be installed?
Installation is typically scheduled within 2–5 working days after payment and order confirmation. Our average turnaround is 48 hours. We'll confirm the exact date with you once your order is placed.

How do I book a measurement visit?
Book directly on our website — it takes under a minute. Choose your preferred date and time, enter your contact details, and you're done. You'll receive a confirmation once a team member verifies your booking. You can also reach us via WhatsApp if you prefer to book manually.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once you receive a call or message from our team. We'll confirm the date, time, and any details we need before the visit.
How do I confirm my order?
An order is confirmed once payment has been made — either full payment upfront or a 50% advance. Once payment is received, we begin production.
Can I cancel or modify my order after payment?
Yes — you have a 24-hour window after payment to cancel or modify your order. After this period, your order enters production and cannot be changed or refunded, except in cases of a manufacturing defect.
Can I book by WhatsApp instead of the website?
Yes. While the fastest way is through our website, you're welcome to reach us on WhatsApp at +971 50 880 6292 and we'll assist with the booking manually.

What types of curtains do you offer?
We offer sheer curtains (allow soft, filtered light), blackout curtains (block light completely), and sheer & blackout combination sets. These are available in multiple heading styles including wave, eyelet, American pleat, and ring style. Browse all curtains.
What types of blinds do you offer?
We offer roller blinds, roman blinds (sheer and blackout), wooden blinds, aluminium venetian blinds, fabric vertical blinds, and zebra blinds. All are custom-made to your exact window dimensions. Browse all blinds.
Do curtains come with accessories?
Yes. Curtains include the necessary tracks, rails, and fixing hardware. Optional accessories such as tie-backs, pelmet boxes, and moving sticks are available and can be discussed during your home visit.
How long do your curtains and blinds last?
With proper care, our curtains and blinds are built to last several years. We select fabrics for durability and UAE climate resilience. Direct, intense sunlight over many years may cause some gradual fading — our team can advise on the best fabrics for sun-facing windows during your visit.
How many fabric options are available?
We carry 100+ fabric options across our curtain and blind range — varying in colour, texture, opacity, and material. Your consultant will bring a curated selection to your home visit based on your space and preferences.
Are child safety features available?
Yes. We offer motorized systems and pull-cord solutions designed with child safety in mind. Ask your consultant during the visit and they'll show you the options available.
Installation

What should I prepare before installation?
Please make sure the following are in place before your installation appointment:
A work permit, if required by your building management
Drilling authorisation confirmed for the scheduled timeslot
Electricity connected at the property
Installation date confirmed with Jan Furnishings
If you're unsure about any of these, contact us in advance and we'll help you sort it out.
Do I need to be home during installation?
It's preferred, but if you can't be there, you can appoint a trusted person to be present during the installation on your behalf.
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed within a few hours, depending on the number of windows and type of product. A single room typically takes 45–90 minutes. Larger whole-home installs may take a full day.
Can you remove my old curtains or blinds?
Yes. Just let us know in advance when you confirm your order, and we'll arrange removal of your existing curtains or blinds as part of the installation visit.
Pricing & Payment

Are there any hidden costs?
No. Our quotations are completely transparent. The price you're quoted includes product, delivery, and installation. There are no add-ons, no surprise charges, and no difference between what you're quoted and what you pay.
Do you offer discounts for large orders?
Yes. Volume discounts are available depending on order size. Contact us or mention it during your home visit and we'll work out the best pricing for your order.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer and cash. Bank transfer is available for upfront payments. Cash payment can be made during the visit or at our office.
Can I pay a deposit instead of the full amount upfront?
Yes. You can pay 50% upfront to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due the day after successful installation.
Warranty & Refunds

What does the warranty cover?
All products come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects on fabrics and rails. The warranty does not cover accessories, misuse, improper cleaning, or normal wear and tear.
How do I request warranty service?
Contact our support team via email at janfurniture.ae@gmail.com or WhatsApp at +971 50 880 6292. Include your order details, photos of the issue, and a brief description. We'll arrange an inspection and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
You can cancel and receive a full refund within 24 hours of payment. After 24 hours, your order enters production and refunds are no longer available — unless the product is defective or incorrectly manufactured, in which case we will make it right.
What happens if I don't pay the balance after installation?
Unpaid balances may be referred to a debt collection agency and could be subject to legal action. Any associated fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
Motorization

Can I motorize my curtains or blinds?
Yes. We offer motorized options for both curtains and blinds. Motorized curtains start from AED 1,299 and motorized blinds from AED 1,392. All systems can be controlled via remote, app, or smart home integration. See motorized options.
What motor brands do you use?
We use Motion Motors (compatible with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit), Somfy Motors (integrated via TaHoma Switch), and Eve Motors (Apple HomeKit only). Your consultant will recommend the best system based on your smart home setup.
Can I control motorized curtains with my phone?
Yes. Motorized systems can be controlled via dedicated apps, voice commands (Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri), or remote controls. You can also set schedules — for example, opening automatically at sunrise or closing at sunset.
Does motorized installation require a professional?
Yes. All motorized installations are handled by our trained technicians to ensure the system is perfectly fitted, configured, and connected to your smart home or app before we leave.
What is the warranty on motorized systems?
Motion Motors and Somfy Motors both come with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. This is in addition to the standard 12-month warranty on fabrics and installation.
